HOW A MINDFUL HOBBY TURNED INTO A PASSION PROJECT
Hi, I'm Emmanuel Miot, founder of the Practice Squad. I fell in love with golf while working in the industry many years ago. Being on the golf course has not only proved to be one of the hobbies that I enjoy the most, it is also one of the best decisions that I have made for my mental health and well-being.

As an entrepreneur, I know what it's like to experience a lack of productivity, burnout, and difficulty managing stress due to the daily grind of building a business and working long hours. As a remedy, I find the Golf course to be a place I can always count on to help me unplug from work, reset my mind, while consistently enjoying the health benefits of being outdoors and staying active.
For those reasons, I've always been excited to invite/bring friends along with me when I go to the practice range or play a quick round. As invites and demand was getting a bit more frequent, Practice Squad Golfer was born.

As much as I enjoy the health benefits of Golf and connecting with others who share this passion, I am inspired and motivated to see more people from diverse backgrounds enjoy this game as well. After all, diversity remains one of Golf's biggest challenges.
This is why I could not resist an opportunity to contribute to my community and the game of Golf in a meaningful way by introducing more entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to Golf while promoting its health benefits.
Consider this my personal invite to join us. It's not just about Golf for me, this is a movement and we're all at the center of it.

See you on the green!

"GOLFING WON'T MAKE YOU PERFECT, BUT IT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE."

"PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE WHEN IT COMES TO GOLF, BUSINESS, AND LIFE."
One of the best things i've learned about golf is that it teaches you to be patient. Unlike many sports that I've played during my athletic career (as an amature), this is a game that you shouldn't plan to master right away if you're just getting into it...unless you're a natural like the Tiger Woods and Annika Sorenstam.

There are many more valuable lessons that can be learned through the game of Golf; However, like many things that are worth doing in life, if you're interested, it's best that you try it out yourself.
